The Community Impact Garden Partnership provides a complete garden build-out paired with ongoing, hands-on instruction, tailored to the needs of each school and space for 1 calendar year. This tier supports the creation of a multi-bed garden system and full curriculum integration, with direct, in-person teaching led by Growing Smiles Garden Co.
What This Partnership Includes:
Custom Garden Build
A set number of raised garden beds (typically 3–6 beds)
A range of bed sizes designed to fit the school’s available space and student needs
High-quality soil, compost, and organic amendments
Seasonal crops selected for learning, resilience, and student engagement
Full Curriculum Integration
Complete integration of the Growing Smiles Garden Co. curriculum
Hands-on lessons aligned with real garden activities
Focus areas include soil health, food systems, ecology, nutrition, and stewardship
On-Site Teaching & Garden Care
Instructor-led sessions 2 times per week
Planting, tending, observing, and harvesting alongside students
Ongoing garden maintenance during the program to ensure success
School-Specific Planning
Garden layout and lesson pacing customized for the school
Adaptations for age group, class size, and accessibility
Coordination with teachers and staff to support learning goals
